Welcome to the Alcohol Sales Training program, a comprehensive educational initiative tailored to individuals and teams selling, serving, dispensing, or delivering alcoholic beverages within licensed or permitted operations. This program is designed to cater to various personnel, including managers, supervisors, and frontline staff, who play a crucial role in the alcohol service process. Throughout the training, participants will delve into essential areas to gain a thorough understanding:

 Legal Responsibilities:  Gain an in-depth understanding of the laws and regulations governing the sale of alcoholic beverages and the significance of compliance to avoid serious consequences. 

Recognizing Intoxication: Acquire the necessary skills to identify signs of intoxication, crucial for upholding laws against selling alcohol to minors or visibly intoxicated patrons.

Intervention Techniques: Learn effective strategies for handling intoxicated customers, focusing on preventing confrontations and maintaining a safe environment. 

Checking Identification: Emphasizing the importance of accurately verifying legal identification to prevent underage sales, including methods to detect fake or tampered IDs. 

Incident Log Maintenance: Highlighting the importance of maintaining a detailed incident log to record any alcohol-related incidents with potential legal or safety implications. - 

Civil/Criminal Liability: Delve into the potential legal liabilities, both civil and criminal, arising from alcohol sales, stressing the importance of adhering to legal and ethical standards. 

This course is about 2-3 hours. You can work at your own pace and take breaks if necessary.
