If you’re a safety manager or supervisor, this OSHA 30-Hour Outreach for General Industry course is your guide to creating a culture of safety in your workplace. You'll get a comprehensive look at the policies, procedures, and standards covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
You’ll learn about the basic elements of a workplace safety and health program and how to manage both. This includes understanding an employer's responsibilities for worker safety, as well as worker's rights to learn about the potential hazards of their job.

The course covers the hazards you might encounter in many different industries, from scaffolding to bloodborne pathogens. You'll learn about essential safety procedures like lockout/tagout protocols, machine guarding mechanisms, and industrial hygiene.
There is an OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Outreach Study Guide included with this course.
Validity of the course from the date of purchase (1 year)
6 months after the first launch; including the survey
Students must:
Access the OSHA Outreach training within U.S. Jurisdiction (refer to page 6 for exceptions)
Spend at least 600 minutes in the 10-hour Construction and/or General courses
Spend at least 1800 minutes in the 30-hour Construction and/or General courses
Only spend a maximum of 7.5 hours on the course per day
Validate their identity throughout the course
Complete a survey upon completion
Pass all lesson assessments and the final exam with a 70% or better in three attempts or less before a certificate of completion can be issued
